Download a print report

A clean report, with the reference inputs and method kept together.

Prepare the comparison first

Enter valid inputs and calculate. Check Original and New, display units and any indicated-speed rows. If you have just swapped the pair or changed a value, review the new results before exporting.

Choose A4 or US Letter

Choose PDF, then select A4 or Letter. A4 is 210 × 297 mm; Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches. The generated PDF uses the selected paper size. Screen theme controls do not add a dark background to the print report.

Download the actual PDF

The export action creates a PDF file in the browser. A preparation state is shown while generation is in progress. Open the resulting file and confirm both inputs, the main dimension values and the scope note. Printing from the browser is a separate optional action.

The print view is a private workspace

The print route is excluded from search indexing. It displays the active report when one is available, and a helpful empty state when there is no report. It does not publish a named local project or make its contents into a public link.

Read the report in black and white

Labels identify Original and New independently of color. The diagram, table and method note remain readable on a monochrome printer. Navigation and advertising are omitted. If the printer scales the page, printed lengths are not engineering measurements; the dimensions in the table are the reference.

Recover from a failed export

Keep the calculation open, retry generation, or download CSV and SVG while you investigate the PDF issue. A failed export does not mean the inputs have been deleted. For editable recovery, download JSON as well.

The English PDF uses an embedded font with a defined character set. If a user-entered project name includes unsupported characters, generation reports that limitation rather than dropping the characters or claiming success. Preserve the original name and inputs in JSON, or choose a supported report name for the PDF.
