What TireSpan provides

TireSpan provides nominal tire and wheel geometry tools, explanatory content, selected source references and downloadable calculation files. It does not sell tires, arrange repairs, identify vehicles from a VIN or provide a vehicle-fitment database.

Use the results within their model

The calculation method describes its inputs, unit conversions and assumptions. Results are not measured tire dimensions, measured road speed, engineering certification or an approval that a wheel or tire is suitable for a vehicle. No automatic geometric threshold establishes safety.

Check inputs and external information

You are responsible for checking the values you enter and retaining the full specifications needed for your purpose. Manufacturer requirements, ratings and physical clearances remain separate from this tool. External references are provided for context; their content can change and is not controlled by TireSpan.

Keep backups you need

Projects are local to the current browser when storage is available. Browser settings, cleared site data or device loss can remove them. Download a JSON backup for information you want to retain. The service has no account or remote project recovery.

Reports preserve a calculation, not an approval

CSV, SVG and PDF outputs describe the active valid inputs and the nominal result at generation time. They do not update after download. Keep the scope note and original/new labels with any excerpt so the reference and limitations remain clear.

Content and source references

TireSpan’s explanatory text and calculation diagrams are distinct from the manufacturer materials to which it links. Third-party marks and documents remain subject to their owners’ rights. A source link does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or permission to reproduce an entire external document.
